Google Play Store houses hundreds of applications and games, many of which would probably not have discovered yourself. Many of those you might even be interested in trying because of the initial price tag attached. As a promotion strategy, adding the added source of revenue for Google and developers, Google Play Pass offers these Android experiences for free in exchange for monthly fees. This subscription service, clearly intended to compete, Apple Arcade, has now expanded its reach in the number of countries it is available as well as the number of games it offers.
As with any digital subscription and distribution service, Google Play Pass is limited to only a few countries. Whether market considerations or legal, it is growing little by little in some countries. The current update, however, brings the greatest addition of 48 countries to this list which, unfortunately, only number 90 in total.
With regard to new games, Google mentions some significant highlights, such as Evoland 2, which would normally cost $ 6.99 if bought separately. The RPG series has prepared for its almost historic perspective of playing games that take players through the different stages and genres of the game.
In addition to making free paid games, Google Play Pass also moves away with integrated purchases and ads for already free games anyway. These include, in this lot, the night of the full moon, a card game based on the Little Red Riding Hood Lore, as well as the constructor of civilization the battle of the polytopia. Overall, Google saw that he has added more than 40 games to the collection since April 1st and it’s not a joke.
Curiously, Google has not highlighted or mentions new applications added to the list that are not games. Unlike Apple Arcade, Google Play Pass is supposed to include games and “regular” android apps, often for productivity, but this last category is relatively small and barely gets special attention. Google has so far remained silent on a recent incident in which one of the applications it has made to playback has been made to the game card apparently with malware.
