Carlos Ray Norris, better known as Chuck Norris, is a legendary American actor and martial arts artist. He is famous for the TV hit series “Walker, Texas Ranger”. He was born on March 10, 1942, in Ryan Oklahoma, but moved to California while very young. He attended North Torrance High School, and then served as air police in the Air Force, from 1958 to 1962.
Biography
In the 60s, Norris opened a karate school and taught several celebrities. Some of them are Bob Barker, Steve McQueen, and Priscilla Presley. He has always been a fierce competitor and participated in various tournaments and martial arts competitions. His first championship came in 1968 when he won the mid-class karate title. He defended it for the next six years. In 1990, he obtained 8 titles Black Belt Masters in Tae Kwon, and also developed his own battle style. This is called Hun Kuk Do. In 2000, Norris received a Golden lifetime achievement award from World Karate Union, a prestigious honor.
The magnitude debut came in 1969 when he appeared on “The Wrecking Crew”. In 1972, he starred in the “dragon way” with Bruce Lee, where they had a deadly scene. Norris lost in the film.
