Mahindra aims to launch 2 suv cars born of 2025

The Mahindra and Mahindra manufacturer is also Gung-ho on the future of mobility and is ready with its electric vehicle plan. The company revealing its shared financial results the plan suggesting how society is gradually looking for.

Rajesh Jejuarikar, Executive Director – Auto and Agricultural Sectors, Mahindra and Mahindra, said the company aims to launch 9 different vehicles by 2026, of which 6 will be hybrid / electric. The company is also working on 2 new products based on the EV platform that is its dedicated architecture for e-suvs.

Although this is not much known about these two SUVs about now, however, reports suggest that they will be built on the basis and will not be based on any existing model of Mahindra. These fully electric vehicles are NORNAMED EV1 and born EV 2 and are programmed for a launch in 2025-26. Mahindra expects Mahindra to use the scalable modular architecture of Mahindra (Mesma), presented at the 2020 automatic exhibition, range of batteries in these cars.

Before entering All-Electric mode, Mahindra and Mahindra will also offer four hybrid views, namely – XUV300, XUV700, W620 and V201. These vehicles open the way to fully electric vehicles and will compete with current generation cars such as Tata Nexon Electric, MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona.

The company announced that it would invest more RS. 17,000 in the next three years and outside these Rs. 3000 has been reserved for the development of electric vehicles. This suggests that the company’s main development will remain on the ice vehicles while the EV market will take a few years at maturity.

In a new relevant news, the American manufacturer Tesla advances with his plans of India and it has been reported that the company had already hired executives in the country and also adapts to the places for its exhibition halls in the country.

That being said that the Indian government had to decline after the first thrust of its target to go all-electric by 2030, which had derailed the dream of Indian eV. However, temporary hochups aside, the federal government keeps a positive perspective towards green vehicles.
