One of the biggest complaints about modern games today is a massive size needed. Take a new Microsoft Flight Simulator, for example. The initial download for the game was 170 gigabytes. Even on a fast internet connection, the size of the size will take a significant time. Consider that many of the United States have a “broadband” speed that is not considered broadband in many parts of the world, and massive downloads are significant discomfort for gamers.
Microsoft knew that massive downloads were not ideal and had issued new fillings for flight simulators that reduced the initial full download for games of 170 gigabytes up to 83 gigabytes. The new patch is 1.16.20.0, also known as SIM update. Microsoft said the team did optimization for the initial download of the game to reduce its size. While the reduction of tens of gigabytes is of course welcome, 86 gigabytes’ downloads are still large files.
Official online specifications for the game say you need 150 gigabytes on the hard drive for installation. The Microsoft Store page for the game said it measured Gigabytes 127.01. Microsoft Flight Simulator has existed for months now and has a lot of game content.
The game has been praised because of its photorealistic graphics that allow you to see individual buildings on the ground in many regions. Airports are also very detailed until signage marks taxiways. This game is one of the most advanced technology titles out there, and fans hope Microsoft has several new announcements to be disclosed during E3. With new updates, fans on slower connections will be less frustrated when preparing to play.
