With regard to password managers, their mobile applications tend to make the most of it. But just as important as the browser extensions they offer. They can do or break the experience of using this platform. 1Password has one of the best I’ve used and thanks to the company’s new 2.0 update, it becomes even more capable.
The head function is support for biometric unlocking. As long as you have the Desktop app installed on your computer, the plug-in can open your safe using Touch ID and Windows Hello. To be clear, 1Password has already supported these platforms on Desktop, but the current update makes it even faster to enter your passwords on a website.
The company has also made it easier to create, back up and update connections directly from the extension. An adjusted interface will show you that all 1Password information is about to save on your safe. You can change this information without opening the Desktop app and add tags to help the organization. When you update the connection credentials, the updated interface also facilitates the vision of what changes. Finally, the extension now supports a dark mode so as not to look like the place next to your browser if you have off that way.
If you are not a 1Password user, they may seem small additions, but items such as biometric support are features that require society to implement some time. If you have already added the extension to your browser, you do not need to get out of your way to update it. Your browser will automatically update version 2.0.
