An allegedly disclosed roadmap of Lenovo might have simply revealed that Nvidia is preparing to release new GPUs super ordinary RTX 3080 Super and RTX 3070 in the near future.
The roadmap, which has been displayed by the user DR_B_M_RIGNIGERY, alteent. View the specifications of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme G4, listing the NVIDIA RTX 3070 Super 8GB GDDR6 and RTX 3080 configuration options, as the configuration options for the GPU of the laptop, as well as the RTX 3060 8GB GDDR6 and GTX 1650 TI 4GB GDDR6.
For a good measure, the laptop also seeks to offer Tiger Lake-H processors, a 16-inch display 16:10 in a resolution of 2.5K or 4K and up to 64 GB DDR4 RAM.
We contacted Lenovo to comment on the pretended roadmap and update this story if we hear back from society.
There is still an open question on the GPU feeding the two beautiful cards, as notes of Videocardz. According to NVIDIA manifest Kopite7kimi, the GA103 GPU is probably canceled at this point, but Videocardz says that this GPU is the only one to make sense for a super refresh because the mobile RTX 3080 is already in maxing with GPU GA104.
There is not much information about the GA103 and it does not seem that all the information is really coming, but that raises the question of what exactly a super mobile RTX 3080 GPU will look like.
