Microsoft Edge users can now online without worrying about secure connections thanks to a new update to the browser.
Microsoft has revealed that Edge will now automatically change user connections to HTTP websites to the safest HTTP thanks to its new HTTPS automatic function.
The movement follows similar measures of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, since browser manufacturers seek to ensure that their users are protected when they are online.

In a blog publication to announce the news, Microsoft said the update must keep EDGE users who remain protected from the so-called man attacks in the middle, where hackers try to aim for web traffic, while pages are being Loading, redirecting victims to a different location.
“HTTPS automatic Changes your connections to HTTP to HTTPS websites on the sites that are very likely to support the safest protocol,” said the company.
“The list of HTTPS capable websites is based on the Microsoft analysis of the Web, and helps enable a safer connection in hundreds of thousands of superior domains.”
Advancing, anyone who visits a website that makes the advantage show a message “NOT SAFE” will see your connection changed from HTTP to HTTPS on the sites. The browser believes that it is very likely to support the safest protocol.
This decision is based on a list of “known domains” of Microsoft’s own internal analysis of the web, which says the company will help allow a safer connection on “hundreds of thousands” of higher domains.
Microsoft says users will not see emerging notifications or interruptions to their connection, and advise the owners of the websites to serve all content through HTTPS, including top-level documents and any high-level sub-regulations.
The HTTPS update is currently being implemented to select Microsoft EDGE 92 users on the Canary and Developer preview channels. To activate the function, users must open Edge: // Configuration / Privacy and turn on “automatically switch to the safest connections with automatic HTTPS”.
