The POCO is primarily known for its smartphones in India as well as global markets. However, last year, POCO confirmed that it works on truly wireless headphones and even the name “Poco Pop Buds”, but the product never happened.
Fast forward at 2021, the company now plans to launch its first non-smartphone product and unexpectedly, these are the real wireless headphones. Popular Tipster, Mukul Sharma spotted the moniker “Poco Pop Buds” on the SIG Bluetooth certification site.

Unsurprisingly, Poco Pop buds will be a rebricky version of Redmi Airdotes 3 Pro, which was launched a few days back in China. The model number “TWSEJ01ZM” on the certification site corresponds to that of AIRDots Redmi 3. The site also confirms Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The same product can also be called Buds from RedMI 3 Pro in the global market.
POCO POP BUDS Characteristics and specifications
Assuming that there is no change in TWS specifications, here is what the Poco Pop buds will bring. As previously indicated, Bluetooth 5.2 harness buds for wireless connectivity. The sports noise cancellation feature is also able to reduce noise up to 35dB.
Inside, you get a 9 mm driver with support for a low latency of 69 ms. In terms of battery life, POCO POP buds are evaluated to last up to six hours on one load. With the supplied case, the battery life can be extended until 28 hours. The transport case comes with a US type C port and the atria are also supporting the wireless load. A quick charge of 10 minutes will offer up to 3 hours of reading.
With regard to orders, true wireless headphones support tactile controls, which means you can use the buttons to take or reject calls, switch between devices and control media. Other features include an IPX4 note, a weight of 4.9 grams (BUD) and three microphones.
